Job summary

Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) is seeking a Coordinator Precinct and Event Security to assist in planning and delivering security operations across Sydney Olympic Park. You will coordinate security plans and manage operational activities for major events and day-to-day precinct operations.

You will work with event organisers, contractors, emergency services and internal teams to prioritise tasks and deliver safe, secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, event coordination or related operational environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication with event organisers, service providers and internal teams.
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgement and problem-solving for security and safety outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach balancing service delivery with safety and security requirements.
• Current WWC check is an essential requirement for this role.
• NSW Driver licence is required.
• NSW Criminal History Check is required.
• SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Training Card for Traffic Controller and Traffic Control Plans.
• Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis or willingness to obtain.
• NSW 1AE Security Licence (2AC licence desirable).
