Job summary

Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Victoria seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise technology strategy and architecture across its diverse community services portfolio, including child protection, housing, disability and family violence prevention.

You will shape future-state direction, guide major decisions and strengthen governance to deliver a modern, coherent technology environment.

Qualifications

Significant experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy or related senior roles in large, complex organisations.
Experience developing enterprise technology strategies, future-state architectures and roadmaps.
Strong data, application, integration and technology domain knowledge.
Experience guiding major transformation, investment and architecture decisions.
Strong judgement balancing business value, delivery practicality, security, cost and risk.
Ability to move between strategic direction and delivery detail.
Strong stakeholder engagement and credible advice to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the department's enterprise technology direction, including future-state architecture and roadmaps.
Guide major transformation and investment decisions with governance that supports delivery.
Improve alignment between business strategy, technology investment and delivery.
Collaborate with senior leaders, delivery teams and partners to modernise the technology environment.
