Job summary

The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the department’s technology direction across child protection, housing and community services.

You will shape future-state architecture, develop strategic roadmaps and governance, and partner with senior leaders to drive investment decisions and delivery of modern, resilient IT services for Victorians.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy or related senior roles in large, complex organisations.
• Experience developing enterprise technology strategies, future-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Strong judgement balancing business value, delivery practicality, security, privacy, cost and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead the department's enterprise technology direction, including future-state architecture and strategic roadmaps.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, delivery teams and partners to improve technology quality and investment decisions.
• Guide architecture governance to support delivery and drive alignment between strategy and delivery.
• Provide credible advice to senior leaders and move between strategic direction and delivery detail.
