Job summary

Department of Transport & Planning Victoria in Melbourne is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the Data & Digital division, setting direction for secure, data-driven solutions across transport, planning and corporate domains. You will partner with leaders to shape current-state and future-state roadmaps, drive transformation, and mentor other architects.

This appointment will be at the base of the STS range and is a significant opportunity to shape enterprise architecture for the State,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field.
• At least five years’ enterprise architecture experience, including two years in domain architecture and technology leadership.
• TOGAF certification or equivalent (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Set direction for complex, modern, secure, data-driven solutions across transport, planning and corporate domains.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to build future-state roadmaps and transformation plans.
• Mentor architects and guide governance, implementation, operation and assurance.
