Job summary

Creative Australia is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead its enterprise architecture capability, aligning technology, data, applications, security and integrations with organisational strategy. The role involves governance, reducing technical debt, and guiding secure, future‑ready IT decisions.

You will define architecture principles, standards and lifecycle plans, while working with Cyber Security, Risk & Assurance, and external providers to ensure compliance and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise architecture programs and guiding technology decisions.
• Ability to define architecture principles, standards, and governance processes.
• Strong knowledge of security, privacy, resilience, and business continuity considerations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain enterprise architecture approach with principles and standards.
• Align platforms, integrations and data flows with organisational strategy and digital service needs.
• Define and run architecture governance to reduce duplication and manage risk.
• Develop lifecycle plans for platforms, applications, integrations and infrastructure.
• Provide solution design guidance for new systems and major projects to ensure secure, scalable outcomes.
• Guide integration planning across multi‑vendor environments with secure data flows.
• Collaborate with cyber security, risk and external providers to support security requirements.
• Offer architecture advice on AI tools and emerging technologies within governance constraints.
• Support procurement and vendor evaluation through architecture assessments and transition risks.
• Maintain architecture artefacts like system maps and decision records to improve visibility.
• Work with business and IT to translate needs into clear technology options and architecture advice.
• Identify improvements to reduce cost, improve reliability and service delivery.
