Siena Catholic College in Queensland seeks an experienced Deputy Principal to join the school’s senior leadership team, providing strategic leadership and support to the Principal. The role focuses on strengthening the religious life, student engagement and wellbeing, and sustainable school management.

This substantive 5-year appointment offers the opportunity for extended service subject to positive review, with underlying continuing teaching status and BCE policies guiding operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior leadership roles in Catholic schools or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching and leading religious education.
• Experience in developing staff and student timetabling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review information to inform decisions aligned with strategic plans.
• Develop relationships to promote the school in the community.
• Manage resources to meet strategic objectives.
• Develop and coordinate staff and student timetables.
• Lead staff, finances and resources in line with policy.
