Job summary

Auto Parts Group (APG) invites applications for a full-time permanent Demand Planner based in Brendale, QLD, Australia. You will forecast demand, plan inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability across APG distribution centres, while optimising costs and service levels.

The role reports to the Purchasing and Pricing Manager and spans Purchasing, Pricing, Product Development, Sales and Operations.

Qualifications

• Strong forecasting, inventory-analysis and commercial decision-making capability.
• Understanding of lead times, safety stock, stock turns and replenishment planning.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence using ERP and purchasing systems.
• Proactive approach to identifying supply risks and opportunities.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder-management across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop 36-month demand forecasts across categories, customers, channels and brands.
• Analyse sales trends, seasonality and market activity to deliver actionable forecasts.
• Support purchasing decisions via demand, inventory, landed-cost and risk analysis.
• Plan replenishment and monitor inventory performance for availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule and consolidate shipments.
• Identify supply risks, pricing opportunities and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Operations and Purchasing to improve planning.
