Job summary

Auto Parts Group (APG) seeks a skilled Demand Planner to turn sales, inventory and market data into practical forecasts. The role is based on-site in Brendale, QLD, reporting to Purchasing and Pricing. You will manage 36-month demand forecasts, coordinate replenishment, and work with multiple teams to optimise stock and supply-chain costs.

The ideal candidate has strong forecasting, inventory analysis and ERP/Excel proficiency, with excellent stakeholder skills to drive cross-functional planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
• Ability to translate data into actionable plans for stock availability.
• Strong understanding of supply-chain concepts and replenishment planning.
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop 36-month demand forecasts across categories, customers, channels and brands.
• Analyse sales trends, seasonality, market activity and product lifecycles to forecast demand.
• Support purchasing decisions with demand, inventory, landed-cost and risk analyses.
• Plan replenishment and monitor stock performance to ensure availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and consolidation points to schedule shipments.
• Identify risks and opportunities to inform management forums.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Operations and Purchasing to improve data quality.
