Job summary

KBR in Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Project Management professionals to support defence and capability programs. Join a dynamic team delivering complex projects that enhance national security and sovereign capability.

The role requires delivering across project portfolios, maintaining integrated schedules, and ensuring cost and risk controls, with baseline Defence Security Clearance at minimum.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex projects, programs, or portfolios in defence or government environments.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks; knowledge of common tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Open Plan).

Responsibilities

• Support high-profile defence and capability programs from planning through delivery.
• Develop integrated schedules and manage costs and performance.
• Support governance through the PMO and project controls.

We're seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Project Managers, Program Managers, Project Coordinators, Project Schedulers, Project Controllers, PMO Professionals, Cost Controllers, and Project Support Officers to support high-profile defence and capability programs.

We're interested in professionals with:
+ Experience delivering complex projects, programs, or portfolios
+ Strong planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills
+ Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
+ Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Open Plan Professional, or similar (highly regarded)
+ Defence Industry experience
