Job summary

DLK Group seeks a Senior Information Systems Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture and governance across the organization in Australia. You will drive the development of robust data frameworks and collaborate with data science and corporate IT to anticipate future needs and ensure integration of data assets.

The role requires strong presentation skills, autonomous work style, and the ability to communicate architectural plans clearly to stakeholders across business units and IT

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of professional experience as an Information Systems Data Architect.
• Tertiary qualification in data architecture or related field.
• Experience in at least two core domains with working knowledge of all: database design, DBMS, governance, modeling, and integration.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze organizational systems and goals to define structural data requirements.
• Coordinate with data science to forecast needs and define data specifications.
• Execute enterprise data architecture strategies across subject areas.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to deploy data strategies.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework including security and quality metrics.
• Communicate project status and plans to stakeholders.
• Oversee conceptual and physical data models and data flow diagrams.
• Design and implement data integration frameworks for interoperability.
