Job summary

KBR Technical Services is seeking a Cost Control Lead in Adelaide, SA to drive cost performance across a large capital works portfolio. You will lead cost management activities, forecast accurately, and embed robust reporting throughout project delivery while mentoring cost control professionals and driving continuous improvement.

• Experience leading cost management across large capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost control principles and forecasting.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop cost control teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Cost Controllers across diverse infrastructure projects.
• Oversee portfolio-wide cost control, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust cost management processes, systems and governance frameworks.
• Analyse cost performance, identify trends and provide proactive recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between budgets, commitments, forecasts and approved scope.
• Lead month-end reporting and portfolio performance reviews.
• Provide strategic cost management advice to senior leadership and project teams.
• Manage change control processes to maintain baselines with approved scope.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics and project controls functions.
• Collaborate with delivery, commercial, engineering and finance teams.
