Job summary

Reporting to the Aboriginal Chief Executive Officer, the Corporate Services Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Finance and Human Resources functions, including associated business development, grants and contracts, payroll coordination, workforce development and

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business management, human resources or a related field.
• Five years’ senior professional or management experience in finance, budgeting and reporting with staff leadership.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgets, forecasting, grants/contracts, audit prep and risk management.
• Knowledge of employment law, enterprise agreements and contemporary HR practice.
• Ability to drive strategic and operational improvements and manage priorities.
• Strong communication, analytical and Excel/financial systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Finance and HR functions.
• Safeguard WWHS’s financial sustainability and maintain internal controls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, statutory obligations, grants and contracts, and audit preparation.
• Lead staff, support workforce development and confidential workforce matters.
• Drive continuous improvement and support executive decision making.
