Sloane Shorey Consulting is seeking an Australia-based Associate Director to deliver strategic advisory work across domestic and international markets. The role combines advisory leadership with client relationship management and business development.

The ideal candidate will oversee discreet fact-finding and investigations, navigate regulatory landscapes, and build senior networks in Australian and international contexts.

Competenze

• 10–15 years’ experience in corporate intelligence or corporate investigations
• Strong understanding of Australian political, regulatory, business and policy environment
• Experience advising senior stakeholders within corporate, investment, or government organisations
• Experience working on international or cross-border issues
• Strong analytical judgement and ability to turn complex issues into commercially relevant advice
• Established network across Australian business, government, policy, or advisory circles
• Strong client relationship skills with evidence of contributing to business development and account growth

• Engage Australian corporate, investment, and government clients
• Deliver discreet fact-finding projects navigating corporate, legal, and regulatory landscapes
• Lead corporate intelligence and investigations assignments, including pre-transaction due diligence, integrity due diligence, source of wealth analysis, and asset tracing
• Lead strategic intelligence assignments, including market entry, stakeholder mapping, political and regulatory risk, and reputational assessments
• Provide investigative support for litigation, arbitration, and negotiation
• Build and maintain senior networks across Australian business, government, policy, and advisory communities
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities to deepen and broaden existing engagements
• Contribute to business development, including originating opportunities, developing proposals, and participating in senior client discussions
