Job summary

Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) Brisbane seeks a Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership across Corporate Services, aligning governance, risk, and performance with housing and economic development priorities.

You will lead multiple corporate functions, shape organisational capability, and partner with the CEO, Board and executives to deliver decisive, accountable outcomes in a complex environment across public, private or not-for-profit sectors.

• Proven ability to drive organisational performance and change.
• Strong risk, policy and compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team on organisational priorities.
