Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a senior Contract Manager for a global professional services leadership role in Melbourne. You will be client-facing, partnering with executives, sales teams and delivery leaders to shape deals, manage risks and ensure contractual success throughout major projects.

The role requires leading contract management teams, advising on account strategy, negotiating and drafting diverse agreements, and building trusted executive relationships across geographies.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in contract management, ideally in technology, professional services or related entity.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams across projects or geographies.
• Experience working on government or public sector contracts.
• Experience with public sector clients is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting regulations, principles and subcontracting practices.
• Experience managing compliance risks, investigations and reporting to senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence C-suite decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management teams across large, complex projects.
• Advise leadership on account strategy, risk management and commercial opportunities.
• Negotiate, draft and manage a wide range of agreements.
• Identify, escalate and resolve commercial and contractual risks.
• Support pre-award sales activities and deal shaping.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships at executive level.
• Coach and develop contract management staff across multiple projects.
