Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Officer to support delivery of a high-profile international government initiative. You will develop and implement strategic communications activities, manage digital content, support stakeholder engagement and deliver communication products across a complex program.

Working in a fast-paced team, you will collaborate with government stakeholders, overseas posts and program delivery teams to coordinate messaging,

Qualifications

Experience delivering strategic communications within government or public sector.
Strong written content for diverse audiences.
Experience managing social channels and content calendars.
Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and business areas.
Experience producing materials such as fact sheets, digital content, briefings.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic communication plans and materials.
Produce high-quality content across digital, social and traditional channels.
Coordinate communication activities across government stakeholders and partners.
Manage social media content planning, scheduling and moderation.
Create engaging digital assets and branded communication products.
Develop information resources for target audiences.
Coordinate translation and publication of key information materials.
Assist with multimedia development (video and images).
Support content collection (stakeholder stories, case studies).
Monitor communication effectiveness and suggest improvements.
