Job summary

Assistant Director, Communications and Engagement in Canberra leads integrated communications for major infrastructure and city services. You will develop strategies, deliver engaging content, and advise on projects that matter to the Canberra community.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will partner with executives and stakeholders across government to ensure clear messaging, manage risks, and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering communications and engagement strategies and campaigns.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationships across government, industry and the community.
• Excellent writing and content development across multiple channels.
• Identify and manage issues, risks and stakeholder concerns.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
