Job summary

AusNet Services Ltd. in Victoria is hiring a Senior Commercial Manager to establish the commercial foundations for the Victorian Transmission Plan (VTP) and VicGrid projects.

Based at Freshwater Place, you will partner with senior stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes, manage risk and create long-term value for customers and communities. You'll lead commercial strategy, contracting frameworks and risk allocation across VicGrid initiatives and the VTP portfolio, negotiate complex agreements,

Qualifications

• Significant commercial leadership experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, transport, government programs or similar complex environments.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and contract management.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive-level influencing abilities.
• Degree in Commerce, Law, Economics, Engineering or related discipline with practical project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy, contracting frameworks and risk allocation across VicGrid projects and the Victorian Transmission Plan portfolio.
• Develop, negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements enabling delivery of projects.
• Provide portfolio-wide commercial leadership with governance, reporting and value-for-money outcomes.
• Influence strategic decisions and commercial frameworks supporting Victoria's energy transition.
