Job summary

Australian Household Name is partnering with Sharp & Carter to recruit a Senior Commercial Analyst into their Commercial Finance team. Reporting to a highly regarded Commercial Manager, this role sits at the centre of operations and finance, supporting a significant network of sites across Australia.

This is a genuine business partnering position where you'll work closely with operational leaders, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities and make better commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering or operational finance.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Experience analysing large volumes of data and turning it into meaningful insights.
• Confidence working directly with operational stakeholders.
• Explain financial concepts in a simple, practical way.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Financial modelling and business case support.
• Performance reporting and variance analysis.
• Identify risks and opportunities across the state operation.
• Provide commercial insights to operational leaders.
• Support national projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Translate financial information into practical business outcomes.
• Engage with Business Partners, Operations Managers, Workforce Planning and senior state leadership teams.
