Job summary

Calvary Health Care in Australia seeks a Senior Category Manager – Clinical to lead strategy, prioritisation and delivery of the clinical procurement portfolio. Reporting to the Director Sourcing, you will set portfolio priorities, allocate work and provide formal people leadership across the clinical sourcing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' procurement experience across clinical or complex, regulated portfolios.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide sourcing processes and significant contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen with spend analysis, market assessment and TCO evaluation.
• Proven accountability for portfolio prioritisation, pipeline and aggregated savings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical category portfolio and set strategic direction for spend analysis, market assessment and supplier management.
• Oversee complex, enterprise-wide clinical sourcing and major negotiations including RFTs and sole-source contracts.
• Set portfolio priorities and endorse category strategies, sourcing plans and contract awards.
• Partner with executives to align on sourcing priorities, standardisation and risk.
• Drive performance, monitor savings, compliance and supplier performance.
• Ensure clinical procurement compliance and resilience including regulatory requirements.
