Job summary

Calvary Health Care is seeking a Senior Category Manager – Clinical to lead strategy, prioritisation and delivery of the clinical procurement portfolio. You will report to the Director Sourcing, set portfolio priorities, and provide leadership across the clinical sourcing team.

You will own the consolidated pipeline, endorse category strategies and lead complex enterprise‑wide clinical procurement initiatives, driving savings, compliance, supplier performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' procurement experience with senior category management exposure.
• Experience in enterprise-wide clinical sourcing and major negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen with spend analysis and total cost of ownership evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical category portfolio and set strategic direction across spend analysis, market assessment, category strategy, sourcing, product standardisation and supplier management.
• Lead enterprise-wide clinical sourcing and negotiations, including major RFTs, strategic panels, sole-source arrangements and commercially material contracts.
• Set portfolio priorities and govern, allocating work across Category Managers and endorsing category strategies, sourcing plans and contract awards.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, engaging executives, clinical, operational and finance leaders to align on sourcing priorities and risk.
• Drive portfolio performance and value, monitoring savings, benefits, pipeline delivery, contract compliance and supplier performance.
• Ensure clinical procurement compliance and resilience, including regulatory requirements and safety standards.
