Job summary

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is required.
• Senior financial leadership experience is essential.
• Experience with budgeting, financial planning and external audit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy and long-term planning for the Shire.
• Oversee budgeting, statutory reporting and audit processes.
• Manage capital works budgets and asset management programs.
• Provide robust financial risk management and governance.
• Partner with Council and CEO to inform strategic decisions.
• Drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
