Job summary

Ofload is Australia’s leading FreightTech scale-up based in Sydney, seeking a CFO to partner with the Founder & CEO, board and Executive Team to drive the next growth chapter and pursue an IPO, trade sale or strategic exit. You’ll lead a mature finance function, capital raising, M&A and post-merger integration, while shaping strategy and people.

Qualifications

• Proven CFO experience in fast-paced or growth businesses.
• Experience navigating IPO readiness and strategic liquidity events.
• Strong capital markets expertise and investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Ofload's long-term growth strategy with the CEO, executive team and board.
• Build an institutional-grade finance function to support scale and governance.
• Lead IPO readiness and maintain flexibility for future liquidity events like trade sales.
• Drive finance transformation across systems, reporting, planning, governance and operations.
• Lead equity and debt capital raising, investor engagement and banking relationships.
• Identify, evaluate and execute acquisitions, partnerships and post-merger integration.
• Strengthen board reporting, governance and performance insights for strategic decisions.
• Collaborate across the business to improve capital allocation and operational discipline.
• Align financial strategy with people and business priorities to create enterprise value.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team aligned with Ofload’s values.
