Job summary

Cotton On Group is hiring a Category Planner for the Typo team in Geelong. You will own the Lifestore Category's commercial and financial performance, turning category strategy into actionable plans, forecasts and inventory strategies to drive sales and profitability.

This role combines data insights with market trends to guide trading decisions, budget development, and stock planning, while coaching the team and collaborating with Buying, Production and Digital teams for optimal product

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandise planning in fast-paced retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate data into profitable outcomes.
• Experience building and managing sales, stock and margin plans.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial and financial performance for the Lifestore Category.
• Partner with Buying to transform category strategy into budgets and forecasts.
• Develop budgets, sales and stock plans for short-term and long-term growth.
• Lead, coach and develop the team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
