Job summary

PERSOL APAC is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager / Supervisor to join a well-regarded Chartered Accounting practice south of Adelaide. You will lead a small team, manage your own client portfolio and provide accounting, taxation and advisory services.

The role offers hands-on client management, technical guidance, and opportunities to contribute to practice growth while working closely with Partners and clients in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Several years of experience within Australian public practice.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Mentoring or supervising accounting professionals.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A commercial approach to client service.
• The confidence to work directly with clients and Partners.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong, long-term relationships.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns across a variety of entity structures.
• Reviewing work completed by accountants and providing technical guidance.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior and intermediate team members.
• Managing workflow and ensuring client work is completed accurately and on time.
• Providing accounting, taxation and business advisory support.
• Working closely with the Partner on complex client matters and projects.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value and services to clients.
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the practice.
• Assisting with more complex compliance and advisory assignments when required.
