The Opportunity

As a Business Development Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of our Customer Connections strategy and contributing to ElectraNet's regulated and contracted business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience and contribute to significant energy infrastructure projects across South Australia.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting new business opportunities:Assisting with connection projects and Build, Own, Operate and Maintain business.
• Contributing to winning proposals:Assisting in the preparation of compelling proposals, bids, and transaction documentation.
• Facilitating agreements:Supporting the development of contracts and agreements.
• Bridging technical understanding with business needs:Developing an understanding of our technical capabilities and applying this to customer connection activities.
• Supporting commercial and financial aspects:Assisting with due diligence and financial activities for new opportunities.
• Preparing customer-facing materials:Helping to create presentations and offer documentation.
• Engaging key stakeholders:Building strong working relationships with internal and external partners, understanding their challenges and priorities.

About You

• Experience in identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities. This could include roles within commercial contracting, account management, or business development.
• A strong foundation in project support, timeline management, and ensuring smooth execution, skills often honed in roles such as Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or Technical Officer could be a great foundation for success in this role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
• Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• High level organisational skills and experience reviewing and understanding documentation.
• Familiarity with the renewable energy industry is advantageous however not essential.
• A willingness to learn and develop an understanding of technical concepts and the energy industry.
• Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
