Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning within large public sector organisations.
• Strong understanding of Treasury and statutory processes, funding frameworks and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence senior government decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation.
• Provide expert financial advice on labour costing, workforce planning and savings initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budget reporting and funding submissions for strategic planning and Treasury negotiations.
• Build stakeholder relationships to support governance and transparent reporting, driving continuous improvement.

Education

Finance / Accounting degree

CPA Australia / CA ANZ / ACCA membership
