Job summary

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Reporting & Budget Management Analyst to oversee the delivery of financial advice and robust reporting across the health service. You will contribute to budget development, monitor processes and ensure timely financial insights to support SA Health objectives.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in accounting or related field, strong leadership, and the ability to work under change.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in accounting, economics or related financial-business management field.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team through change.
Self-motivated, organised with initiative and ability to work independently.
Experience in strategic financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities

Ensure development and implementation of improved financial reporting and budgetary management across the health service.
Monitor budget processes to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Support budget development aligned to SA Health principles.
Identify factors likely to impact financial performance in future years.
Provide analysis of performance against KPIs and advise on corrective actions.
Advise on strategies for efficient use of resources.
Ensure timely submission of internal financial management and monthly monitoring reports.
