Job summary

Thales Australia is seeking a Project Manager to lead bids and projects within the Secure Information & Communications Systems business. The role focuses on achieving cost, time, safety and quality objectives while coordinating across functions and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, competitive bid offers.

You will develop winning strategies, organise gate reviews, and manage schedules, budgets, risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in business, engineering, project management or related field.
• IPMA Certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• 5+ years of Bid and Project Management experience at a senior level with multi-partners/major co-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bids and projects, ensuring objectives in cost, time, safety and quality are met.
• Coordinate across functional areas to optimise bid resource allocation.
• Manage stakeholders and communications, both externally and internally.
• Develop winning bid strategies and ensure they translate into compelling offers.
