Job summary

NSW Department of Education in Parramatta is seeking a Manager Asset Management Sourcing (Procurement) to lead procurement services for the Asset Management function. This permanent role offers a hybrid work arrangement across NSW offices and an 18-month talent pool fill window.

You will drive procurement planning, sourcing, contracting, governance and risk management to deliver value for money and align with government directions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing and delivering procurement services.
• Qualifications in procurement, contract management or related discipline.
• Strong governance, performance management and compliance capabilities.
• Proven experience partnering with stakeholders and leading negotiations.
• Ability to build procurement capability and influence business units.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Prepare procurement plans and strategies aligned to business needs.
• Lead negotiations to achieve value for money and optimal outcomes.
• Provide procurement advice to key stakeholders for innovative practices.
• Manage procurement staff and cross-functional teams to deliver plans.
• Monitor compliance and manage procurement risk.
