Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a role within the Office of the Public Guardian to assess complex CVA cases and coordinate advocacy, referrals, and escalations. The position involves building strong ties with regional service providers and key government agencies to ensure high-quality client outcomes.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, review policies, perform data analysis, and contribute to community education about the Office of the Public Guardian under CVA management direction.

Qualifications

• Must possess a C class driver’s licence.
• Working with Children Check clearance (Blue Card) is a mandatory condition for this role.
• Applications to remain current for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assess complex and sensitive information regarding CVA clients to determine advocacy, referrals and escalation options.
• Establish and maintain positive connections with regional care and service providers and government agencies (e.g., NDIA, Child Safety, Youth Justice, Queensland Health).
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of client services.
• Review and update policies, procedures and reporting guidelines in consultation with CVA management to improve processes and outcomes.
• Undertake data analysis and trend reporting and maintain confidential records of advocacy matters.
• Educate local communities about the Office of the Public Guardian and participate in community engagement under CVA leadership.
