Job summary

2xm in Archerfield, Brisbane, is seeking a hands-on Trades Assistant to support a busy team across stores and workshop duties in a permanent, full-time capacity. You will be involved in receiving, organising and dispatching goods, maintaining stock control and assisting with general stores operations, alongside practical workshop tasks.

The role splits roughly 50/50 between stores operations and workshop support; opportunities to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and assist with spray painting

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence.
• Overhead crane operating experience.
• Dogging certification will be highly regarded.
• Experience using inventory or stock control systems.
• Experience receiving, handling and dispatching goods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach.
• Spray painting experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, receipt, organise and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods.

About the OpportunityWe’re seeking a hands-on Trades Assistant to join a busy team based in Archerfield. This is a varied, permanent opportunity combining warehouse and stores responsibilities with practical workshop duties.

Once fully trained, the role will be split approximately 50/50 between stores operations and workshop support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of organisation, materials handling and mechanical work.

Trades Assistant – Stores & Workshop

Key Responsibilities:
