Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker for ad hoc and irregular shifts in a cold storage environment, assisting with picking and packing milk products for distribution via truck fleets. The role requires an LF forklift licence, the ability to perform manual handling of crates, and availability across 7 days at short notice.

Prior warehouse or process operation experience is preferred, and you must be able to pass medical, functional and D&A testing, with allowances provided for

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or process operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in cold storage environment.
• Assist with picking and packing milk products for distribution.

Job description

Programmed is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker for adhoc and irregular shifts in a cold storage environment, assisting with picking and packing milk products for distribution via truck fleets.

Roster & required Availability

• Varying number of shifts offered each week
  
• 8-hour shifts
  
• Must be available for DS, Early Mornings, AS and NS
  
• No set weekly roster (0-5 shifts per week)
  
• Availability required across 7 days, all hours, and at short notice

About the Role

• Forklift operation (LF licence essential)
  
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of loaded crates
  
• Working in a cold storage environment (below 0°C)
  
• Cold work and forklift allowances paid

About You

• Strong focus on safety and productivity
  
• Must be available across 7 days, all hours, at short notice
  
• Proven experience in a warehouse or process operation
  
• Current LF Forklift Licence with demonstrated recent experience
  
• Able to provide recent work referees
  
• Able to undergo and pass a medical assessment, functional assessment and D&A testing
  
• Role would suit a semi-retired lifestyle
