Job summary

Bidfood Yatala is looking for Storeperson/Pick Packers to join our warehouse team. Training will be provided, no prior experience required. You’ll contribute to a fast-paced operation by picking, packing and delivering with precision.

You’ll rotate across dry, chilled and frozen duties, with a focus on accuracy and safety in a busy distribution centre near the Gold Coast. Forklift licence with reach experience is preferred, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence with reach experience is essential.
• Hospitality or kitchens background translates well to pace and standards.
• Physically fit with ability to handle manual tasks and long shifts.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical if required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and assemble goods accurately for orders.

Bidfood Yatala is looking for reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as Storeperson/ Pick Packers at our warehouse.

Don’t worry if you have no prior warehouse experience, we will provide your training!

This role suits someone who works well in a fast‑paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer and chiller areas. It’s physical, it’s practical and it’s essential to the success of hospitality businesses.

About the role

On a typical day, you’ll be picking and assembling customer orders, loading trucks, managing inbound stock and helping keep our warehouse tidy, organised and running like clockwork. You’ll rotate across dry, chilled and frozen duties, so no two shifts feel quite the same. The role will also require you to:

About you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You’re punctual, practical and a team player. The kind of person others can count on when it gets busy.

If you’ve worked in hospitality or kitchens before and understand the pace and importance of getting things right, that experience translates perfectly to this role. Previous warehouse experience and a forklift licence are an advantage, but more important is your work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn.
