Recruit Australia in the Braeside area is seeking a stores person / packer with a forklift licence for immediate start. This role is not a simple pick-pack; you will handle incoming and outgoing goods, including paperwork, in an engineering store setting.

You will receive goods, check against invoices, unload and store items, operate a forklift, pack and ship orders, and conduct barcode/data entry tasks. Experience in an engineering store is preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and recent stores experience.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Engineering store environment experience preferred.
• Strong team player with good communication.

Responsabilités

• Receive incoming goods and check against purchase orders.
• Unload goods, store items, and file paperwork.
• Operate forklift and prepare goods for packing and dispatch.
• Package orders and dispatch to customers; enter data and scan barcodes.
• Organise raw materials for the machine shop per requirements.

Based in the Braeside area this company is a precision machining and engineering business for various industries such as defence, aerospace, medical and other high end industries.

They are looking for a all-round stores person / packer with a forklift licence for immediate start.

This is NOT a pick pack position but a position that requires someone that is flexible, adaptable and can work in a strong team environment and can handle working in a engineering store area handling incoming and outgoing including paper work.

As the stores person you will be receiving incoming goods, checking goods and invoices, unload goods and check against order forms, place goods in their appropriate places, operate forklifts, package and send out completed orders to customers, use electronic bar coding and entering data into computers. You will also organise raw materials for the machine shop team.

You will need a high attention to detail and recent stores experience, forklift licence, and ideally experience within an engineering business or similar.
