Job summary

BJ Howes Metaland Lisarow branch is seeking an enthusiastic Storeperson to join the team. You will support the sales and operations teams through picking, processing, dispatch and delivery of customer orders while delivering outstanding service.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role requires a current forklift license and the ability to work well within a team. A MR licence is advantageous, with opportunities to progress toward full-time sales.

Qualifications

• A current forklift licence.
• A current MR truck licence would be an advantage.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to show initiative.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• A genuine desire to learn, grow and develop new skills with potential to move into full time sales.

Responsibilities

• Forklift operation.
• Picking and packing customer orders including Industrial Gas & Steel.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Warehousing of goods, including Industrial Gas & Steel.
• Store presentation and merchandising.
• Assisting with inventory control.
• Processing Steel, Industrial Gas and Consumable Orders.
• Deliveries as required.
• Providing exceptional customer service at all times.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working Storeperson to join the team at our BJ Howes Metaland Lisarow branch.
