Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL in Eastern Creek, NSW, is hiring a Storeperson to support efficient warehouse operations. You will manage inbound/outbound orders, put-aways, and stock replenishment while using RF scanners and a WMS to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Forklift licence is required, and you will work in a high-volume environment with a focus on safety and customer service. DHL offers training, KPI bonuses, uniforms, and team events.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Forklift licence (High Reach and Counter Balance) is preferred.
• Proven ability to operate RF scanners and a warehouse management system.
• Ability to work in a team and deliver strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently processing both inbound and outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Performing put-aways of goods into designated locations, maintaining organisation and accessibility.
• Timely replenishment of stock to ensure availability and smooth operations.
• Utilizing handheld technology, such as RF scanners, to facilitate order processing and inventory management.
• Operating a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to print labels and verify data accuracy.
• Supporting stocktakes as required to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Demonstrating awareness of potential hazards and actively contributing to a safe working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment
• Forklift Licence (High Reach and Counter Balance)
• Proven experience picking, packing, checking, and dispatching of orders
• Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners
• Ability to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service
• Knowledge of inventory management
