Job summary

GPC Asia Pacific is hiring for Casual Warehouse - Storeperson roles at the NSW Distribution Centre in Smithfield.

Join our incoming team to unload, pick, pack, and manage stock using RF scanners, while following QA and safety practices. Training is provided; forklift licence is desirable but not required. Be part of a diverse, safety‑minded workplace with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with a good attitude, adaptability, and strong communication.
• Understanding ERP-type processes and how they flow in warehousing.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with a team.
• Manual handling experience up to 15 kgs; forklift licence is desirable.
• Committed to safety, QA practices and continuous training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers and IBT cages.
• Pick and pack goods for dispatch.
• Safe handling of stock and use of RF Scanner Technology.
• General warehousing duties and housekeeping.
• Adhere to all company policies, QA guidelines and safety rules.
• Contribute to team goals and support safety initiatives.

About the Role:

We are excited to offer Casual Warehouse - Storeperson positionsin our incoming team at our NSW Distribution Centre located at Smithfield. Join our dynamic growing team and play a vital role in our efficient operations!

The primary role of the Storeperson (Incoming) is to undertake:

• Loading and unloading containers and IBT cages
• Picking and packing of goods
• Safe handling of stock and use of RF Scanner Technology
• General warehousing duties
• Comply with ALL company policies, guidelines, directions & QA practices
• Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting

About you, skills and experience:

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.

We are looking for a someone who has:

• A good understanding of ERP-type processes.
• Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment.
• Manual handling experience with the ability to lift up to 15 kgs.
• Forklift Licence (not required but is desirable).
