Workhorse Staffing is recruiting for a Storeperson / MR Driver in the Beresfield/ Newcastle area. The role combines warehouse, stores, and delivery duties with stable, long-term opportunities.

The job offers AUD 36 per hour, Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:06pm, with 3–5 hours overtime weekly at penalty rates and potential for permanency. A supportive team and growth through upskilling on production machinery are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF) required.
• Valid MR Licence required.
• HIAB experience advantageous.
• Experience in warehouse or storeperson roles.
• Experience picking, packing and preparing customer orders.

Responsibilities

Storeperson / MR Driver – $36ph

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Storeperson / MR Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business in Thornton. This is a hands-on role combining warehouse, stores and delivery duties and would suit someone looking for stable, long-term work with a great team.

The Role

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
• Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries
• Completing inter-branch transfers
• Receiving incoming goods and completing relevant paperwork
• Assisting customers face-to-face and providing friendly service
• General warehouse and stores duties
• Using computer systems for order entry, stock control and documentation
• Providing backup MR delivery driving as required
• Operating a forklift for loading, unloading and stock movement

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
• Valid MR Licence
• HIAB experience highly advantageous
• Previous warehouse or storeperson experience
• Experience picking, packing and preparing customer orders
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
