Job summary

MM Electrical Townsville is seeking a dedicated Storeperson/Driver for a full-time role in Townsville. The position combines warehousing duties with delivery duties, requiring accuracy, reliability and strong IT skills.

You will handle stock, process orders, assist customers, and maintain safety around vehicle and equipment. Applicants must have a Class C licence, with forklift or LR licences preferred.

Qualifications

• Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen; sponsorship not offered.
• Current Class C driver’s licence with good driving record.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential; LR licence preferred but not essential.
• Experience as Warehouse Storeperson/Delivery Driver with goods receiving/dispatching.
• Proficient IT / computer skills; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Warehousing duties: checking incoming goods and receiving into the system.
• Site deliveries/collections to various sites.
• Interacting professionally with customers to deliver/pickup goods.
• Keeping vehicle and equipment in safe and clean condition.
• Picking and packing of customer orders.

MM Electrical Townsville has a permanent position open for a Storeperson/Driver, and we're on the hunt for people with enthusiasm, energy, and a drive for success.

This is a full-time position, with the hours of the role being Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Warehousing duties, including checking incoming goods, receiving them into the operating system, identifying customer orders, putting stock away.
• Site deliveries/collections to various sites
• Interacting professionally with customers to deliver/pickup goods
• Keeping any vehicle or equipment in safe and clean condition
• Picking and packing of customer orders
• Accurate completion of the relevant paperwork
• Assisting with stock counts

For this role, you will also need the following:

• Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
• A current Australian Class C driver's licence with a good driving record
• A current Forklift Licencse preferred but not essential
• A current LR or higher truck license with a good driving record preferred but not essential
• Demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Storeperson/Delivery Driver with a full understanding of receiving and dispatching of goods.
• Be comfortable with IT / Computer Skills.
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Have good time management skills and a proactive work ethic.
