Job summary

Auto Parts Group (APG) is hiring a Casual Warehouse Store Person at our new Dandenong Distribution Centre. You will be part of a busy team, handling stock, packing orders and operating RF scanners to ensure accurate picking and shipping processes.

The right candidate will have a practical approach, be adaptable, and communicate well with team members. Forklift licence (high reach) is highly desirable, and a valid driver’s licence may be required for occasional duties.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP-type processes is preferred.
• Forklift (high reach) licence is highly desirable.
• Able to adapt quickly and work well in a team.
• Attention to safety and quality in warehousing tasks.
• Valid driver’s licence for driving duties if required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing of goods.

About the Role:

We are excited to offer a Casual Warehouse Store person position at our new Dandenong Distribution Centre. Join our dynamic growing team and play a vital role in our efficient operations!

The primary role of the Store person is to undertake:

• Picking and packing of goods


• Safe handling of stock and use of RF Scanner Technology


• General warehousing duties


• Comply with ALL company policies, guidelines, directions & QA practices


• Repetitive movements and some heavy lifting

This role may require driving duties on needs basis.

About you, skills and experience

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.

We are looking for Storeperson who has:

• A good understanding of ERP-type processes.


• Forklift Licence - High reach (highly desirable).


• Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment.


• Manual handling experience with the ability to lift up to 15 kgs.


• A valid driver's license for driving duties as required.
