Job summary

Austest Laboratories is seeking a well-organised Storeperson to support our engineering team with the smooth movement and storage of customer equipment in a hands-on, practical role.

This part-time position is 15 hours per week across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ideally in the morning, with on-site responsibilities in our storeroom and occasional local deliveries. You will work independently within a small, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Dependable, practical and capable of working independently.
• Systematic and organised approach to storeroom tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including email and printing labels.
• Ability to safely move and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack incoming items
• Record arrivals and print labels
• Store equipment and maintain an organised storage area
• Retrieve items when required by the engineering team
• Pack and prepare equipment for return transport
• Coordinate with colleagues, clients and logistics providers
• Undertake occasional local deliveries or collections in a company vehicle
• Assist with general housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks

We are looking for a well-organised Storeperson to support our engineering team with the smooth movement and storage of customer equipment.

This is a practical, hands-on role working 15 hrs per week, across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ideally in the morning.

What you’ll be doing
