Job summary

Protech Group is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join the Jilalan site on a 3-6 month assignment, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm with overtime as required.

The role supports warehouse and logistics operations, receiving, storing, managing and distributing materials to maintenance teams and contractors. Forklift licence and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence and safe operation knowledge.
• Experience in storeperson, warehouse or logistics roles.
• Experience using inventory management systems (SAP or similar).
• Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch materials for maintenance teams and contractors.
• Receive, unload and store incoming stock.
• Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts; report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Load and unload vehicles; ensure materials are secured.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.

Storeperson | Jilalan

Protech are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join the team at Jilalan. This is a hands‑on role supporting warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring materials are received, stored, managed and distributed safely and efficiently to maintenance teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch materials for maintenance teams and contractors.
• Receive, unload and store incoming stock.
• Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts, reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Load and unload vehicles while ensuring materials are secured correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Forklift Licence (essential).
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse or logistics role.
• Experience using inventory management systems, ideally SAP or similar.
• Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
