Job summary

WesTrac Newman is seeking a Storeperson to join our team at the Newman branch in a full-time permanent capacity. You will interpret parts, pick, pack and despatch customer orders, while delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Based in Newman, WA, this residential role involves forklift operations and general warehousing duties. You will work with SAP/DBS systems, uphold accuracy, and support the parts department with a positive, safety-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management systems (SAP/DBS or similar).
• Experience in warehouse/parts interpreting.
• Attention to detail and strong communication.
• Computer literacy with MS Office.

Location: Newman, WA, AU, 6753

Reporting into the Parts Supervisor, the Storeperson will be based at our Newman branch in a full-time permanent capacity. The Storeperson will be responsible for carrying out accurate and efficient parts interpreting, picking, packing and despatch of customer parts orders with the primary objective of providing customers with the best service possible. This is a residential based role.

About Newman

Our Newman team provide Cat machinery solutions to suit any earthmoving business including both new and used equipment sales, heavy equipment rental, as well as parts, servicing and merchandise.

Roster:

9 Days on, 5 Off – 11.5 hr/day (inclusive of meal break)

What You’ll Do:

• General Warehousing duties
• Picking/Packing & Processing Customer Order data
• Forklift Operations
• Assisting customers

Skills & Experience:

• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift is essential
• Warehouse Management systems (SAP, DBS or similar)
• Previous experience working in a similar warehouse environment or parts interpreting.
• Positive attitude with great attention to detail
• Computer literacy - inclusive of MS Suite – with effective communication skills
• Customer Service skills
