Job summary

WesTrac Perth is seeking a Store Person to join our Parts and Logistics team on a full-time basis. Based at our Perth branch, you will pick/pack orders, put away stock, receipting, and operate a forklift as required.

RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System will be used to process orders, coordinate loading/unloading, and maintain accurate stock counts. A forklift licence and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence required and prior warehousing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in basic computer use and MS Office.
• Experience with customer enquiries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

Location: Perth Precinct, WA, AU

Reporting into the Parts Supervisor the Store person will join our parts and logistics team on a Fulltime basis at our Perth branch. This role involves picking and packing customer orders, forklift operating and processing customer order data into the Warehouse Management Systems.

Our Perth Branch offers the opportunity to join us in redefining excellence in construction and mining. Our CI Customer Service and Logistics, New Construction Machines, and Aftermarket Services ensure satisfaction and seamless support.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 8.5 Hours per day (including unpaid meal break)

What You’ll Do

• General Warehousing duties
• Picking and/or packing
• Stock put away and receipting
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Usage of Radio Frequency Scanners
• Usage of High reach forklift
• Booking in transport and logistics
• Stock counts

Skills & Experience

• Positive attitude with great attention to detail
• Forklift Licence
• Capable of performing duties in various weather conditions
• Good manual handling techniques
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously with effective communication skills
• Computer literacy – including MS Suite
• Customer service skills – Previous experience liaising with customers and handling customer enquiries seen as advantageous
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (desirable)
