Job summary

Vulcan Steel on the Gold Coast is seeking a full-time warehouse operative to pick, pack and prepare orders, and manage stock with care. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and safely operate a forklift to load and unload goods.

This role supports a stable, safety-focused team within Australasia's leading metals distributor and processor. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, enjoy a supportive environment and opportunities for career progression within Vulcan.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and relevant operating experience required.
• MR licence is an advantageous qualification.
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices in warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming stock.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklift.
• Support general warehouse operations as required.

What you will be doing:

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receive, inspect and put away incoming stock
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory accuracy
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklift
• Support general warehouse operations as required

Requirements

• Monday to Friday 7.30-3.30/4pm
• Forklift licence and experience
• MR licence (an advantage)
• Sound understanding of health and safety
