Job summary

Haynes People is seeking motivated Storepeople to join a busy warehouse team in Emerald, Queensland. This role offers an immediate start with a pay rate of $38.00/hr and a Monday–Friday roster, with varying hours and short-term contracts.

You will pick and pack orders, operate forklifts with LF clearance, and use RF scanners to keep inventory accurate while maintaining a safe workplace. Applicants must have a valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport required.
• Forklift Licence advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Role details:

• Pay rate: $38.00/hr flat rate
• Roster: Monday – Friday
• Type: Varying hours and short term contracts available

What you’ll be doing:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operating forklifts to load/unload trucks and relocate stock (LF licence required)
• Using RF scanners to maintain inventory accuracy
• Ensuring a safe working environment and following company safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Current Forklift Licence advantageous
• Previous experience in warehousing or a similar role
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures
