Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Senior Inventory Officer to support the MV CLCM program. You will manage inventory requirements across the vessel lifecycle, working closely with the Inventory Lead to ensure ship availability for Navy operations.

The role involves hardware stocking, procurement support with Sourcing, and compliance across export controls. Multiple locations: Perth, Darwin, Cairns; hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Certificate IV in Logistics, Supply Chain or Distribution (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years' experience with inventory management operations.
• Defence environment experience highly regarded.
• Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP, Maximo, EAGLE or MILIS.

Responsibilities

• Support material management planning and scheduling for maintenance periods across ship classes.
• Meet customer requirements for internal and external stock levels and fleet management.
• Maintain export control compliance across Material Support functions.
• Be comfortable with technology and logistics databases in support of program requirements.
• Collaborate with Sourcing Team to ensure efficient procurement and repair of inventory to maintain stock levels.
• Support audit and quality assurance controls across the supply chain.
• Act as POC for specific vessel class.

Working within the Minor Vessel Capability Lifecycle Manager (MV CLCM) program the Senior Inventory Officer is accountable to the Inventory Lead to support development and proactive management of the inventory requirements across the vessel's lifecycle - underpinning the availability of the ships to Navy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support material management planning and scheduling, including analysis and the optimisation of inventory holdings and locations for maintenance periods of different ship classes
• Meet customer requirements for both internal and external, including stock level maintenance and fleet management.
• Maintain Raytheon Australia's export control compliance across all Material Support functions.
• Being comfortable with technology and system and logistics databases in support of program requirements.
• Working with the SPO Sourcing Team to ensure the efficient procurement and repair of inventory to maintain the established stock levels.
• Support to audit and quality assurance controls across the supply chain function to ensure compliance to policy.
• Act as the POC and support conduit for specific vessel class
• Multiple locations - Perth, Darwin, or Cairns

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Requires a Certificate IV in Logistics, Supply Chain or Distribution (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years' experience with inventory management operations.
• Experience within a Defence environment highly regarded.
• Computer literacy including the use of inventory management systems, e.g. SAP, Maximo, EAGLE or MILIS, Windows OS and Microsoft Office
• Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV-1 Security clearance as needed.
