Job summary

Davimac Group in Molong NSW is seeking a Storeman/Yardman to manage stock movement and warehouse duties. You will coordinate picking, packing, shipping, and quality checks, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to sites and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory stock levels at agreed minimum / maximum volume to ensure production is not impacted by supply chain issues.
• Timely transport of goods between Davimac and Agrowplow sites and to external customers.
• Loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Supply parts (pick and pack) from the warehouse using expanded picklists printed directly from the system to the various stakeholders in a timely and highly accurate manner.
• Verify that the physical part matches the invoice and technical description before sealing the package.
• Generate and attach shipping labels via StarShipIt and ensure all orders are actioned daily.
• Perform stock receivals, ensuring physical goods match the paperwork.
• Update bin locations immediately upon moving stock to ensure the Parts team can locate parts in the system.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout the warehouse and outdoor areas.
• Truck and forklift pre-start safety inspections and regular maintenance.

About the role

The Storeman/Yardman is responsible for the physical movement and integrity of stock to support a diverse range of Production and Spare Parts activities. Under the direction of the Parts and Warehouse Manager, the Storeman/Yardman manages the warehouse floor and organising outdoor storage areas, manages inventory, performs truck runs between sites, loads and unloads deliveries, and ensures order preparation (picking, packing, shipping and quality control) meets Davimac Group standards. This role is vital for maintaining the flow of materials between the workshop and the end customer.

About you

Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or storeperson role, preferably within the agricultural or manufacturing sectors.

Valid Forklift licence and Minimum MR truck licence required for machine transport duties.

Technical understanding of stock control principles and the ability to identify parts correctly from drawings and manuals.

Precision in picking orders and recording stock movements to prevent inventory variances.

Ability to navigate the warehouse environment to pick and pack orders effectively.

Competence in inventory software and shipping platforms to generate picklists and labels.

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team focus.

Excellent organisational and follow-up skills.

Excellent communication skills and effective time-management.

Knowledge of agricultural machinery (desirable).
