GPC Asia Pacific is seeking a Store Person to join our Melbourne warehouse. You will be responsible for accurate picking, packing, and dispatching of stock orders while keeping a clean, safe, and orderly storeroom. The role emphasises safety and reliability, with opportunities to grow within our large automotive aftermarket group.

You should have warehouse experience, a keen eye for detail, and a readiness to learn. A forklift licence is advantageous and a current driver’s licence is required.

Qualificações

• Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Current driver’s licence ( forklift licence advantageous).

Store Person

About the role:

Our Store Persons put safety first! In fact, we all prioritise safety, ensuring that we Make It Safe and Make It Home. Store Persons are proactive in keeping our warehouse presentable and safe, and take pride in accurately picking, packing, and dispatching stock orders in a timely manner.

Duties include:

• Pick, pack, dispatch orders
• Assist the team where needed
• Storeroom organisation and safety
• Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving / machine operation.

Who we’re looking for:

• Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching
• High level of accuracy / attention to detail
• A current driver’s licence and forklift licence (advantageous)
• Physical capacity to lift up to 20kg
• Commitment to safety and building strong working relationships
• Willing to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Passion to be the best and continually raise the standard!
